Slightly cooler on Wednesday; Quickly warming thereafter
There aren’t too many changes to the forecast on Wednesday, aside from a push of slightly cooler air. That is forcing us to scale back on highs a bit. As opposed to reaching the 80s again, I suspect that many will be stuck in the 70s on Wednesday. We’re forecasting a high near 73° in Lincoln.
The sky should be cloudless for most of Wednesday as an area of high pressure will help suppress the upward motions needed to produce any clouds.
That area of high pressure will be moving east on Thursday and Friday. As a result, winds will start to pick up and temperatures will begin to climb. By Friday, high temperatures should be back in the 80s.
