Small airplane makes emergency landing on highway in Thayer County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Thayer County Sheriff’s Office was called to an emergency airplane landing Sunday just east of Hebron.
Troopers, Hebron Fire and Nebraska Game and Parks were called to the intersection of highways 136 and 81, where the plane safely came to a stop.
The sheriff’s office said the airplane was taxied to the Hebron airport, which was less than a mile away.
Channel 8 called the sheriff’s office, but they had no information on injuries or the cause of the emergency landing.
