Small chance at spot storms Wednesday evening before dry, warm stretch continues
After seeing more clouds build in overhead the second part of Tuesday, we’re left with a mix of sun and clouds for Wednesday.
Precipitation will largely be hard to come by today, too, but expect mild conditions to last with temperatures in the 50-70° range and light winds out of the east.
Only spot showers and storms will be possible first toward the Kansas border early, then mostly north of I-80 by Wednesday evening. Not much rain will come for those that see it, either.
Unfortunately, the dry spell continues after today. There doesn’t look to be any rain coming until after the middle of the month at this point.
The weather pattern by Mother’s Day weekend along with the dry conditions will lead to a quick warm up. Early next week will be warm as well, coming close to 90°.
The 8-14 day precipitation outlook does have Nebraska in a chance to lean toward above average precipitation during the May 14-20th timeframe.
