A social media post helped investigators make an arrest in an armed robbery case in Kearney.

Jamiee Williams was arrested Tuesday for robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

Authorities say Williams was armed with a handgun when he forcibly took cash from a pizza delivery driver outside a Kearney home last week.

Investigators found a photo on Snapchat of Williams and matched him to the description provided by the victim, according to court documents. The caption on the photo read “Hit dis lick right quick,” which investigators said is slang for a robbery or way to obtain money illegally.

Williams was taken into custody without incident.
