Snow starting late tonight, heaviest snow Monday morning
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect late tonight through Monday evening. Snow accumulations 2-4″+ possible.
Stormcast is showing snow developing in the panhandle tonight and spreading in central Nebraska around 1am-3am. The heaviest of snowfall will happen from 3am-9am. Monday afternoon, we get a break from the snow in eastern Nebraska. Monday evening, the snow will return starting out in central Nebraska and move east. Tuesday morning, another round of snow tries to develop and move east throughout the morning and afternoon hours.
The most snowfall looks to stay in central Nebraska through Tuesday, up to 4″+. For most of us, we could see 2-4″. Temperatures will be quite cold, meaning this will be another fluffy snow event which the snow could pile up quickly throughout Monday and Tuesday.

Monday morning, wind chill temperatures 5-10 degrees BELOW ZERO.

An EXTREME COLD WATCH is in effect starting late Monday through Thursday. Wind chills as low as 30 degrees BELOW ZERO.
