Son surprises his dad with a newly restored Chevrolet Chevelle

1969 Chevrolet Chevelle, was the first car that Charles Zaruba bought 50 years ago on Saturday, but after a long time it needed some major repairs, so his son Brandon took it from him secretly and worked on it with the Bombers Garage in Lincoln to fully restore it and surprise Charles.
“I came down and I see that, and I went god that’s just like the one I use to have, I read the sign it said Charles Zaruba and I thought oh boy what is going on here?” Charles said.
Three years ago Brandon began working on it behind Charles’s back, and he says seeing the look on his dad’s face makes all of that hard work totally worth it.
“Absolutely, he can be kind of stoic so that was a pretty good reaction for him, it’s all worth it and I know it will be worth it every day from here on out so yea, definitely,” Brandon Zaruba said.
But for Charles, he’s just excited to get back behind the wheel in his 69 Chevelle.
“It’s great I can’t wait to get it out of here and take it for a spin,” Charles Zaruba said.
