Southeast Community College enrollment increases by 9%

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Southeast Community College is reporting a jump in enrollment this fall.

The college said Tuesday that its student body increased by 9% to 10,584.

It is the first time in more than a decade that SCC has had more than 10,000 students.

“This enrollment increase is consistent with our transformative initiative to produce a skilled workforce in order to strengthen our communities,” SCC President Paul Illich said in a press release.
