LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – After a delay due to pressurization issues, SpaceX launched its huge Starship rocket on Thursday.

It took place in South Texas, over the Gulf of Mexico.

Starship flew for over two minutes before exploding, leaving behind a cloud of flaming debris.

CEO Elon Musk says the rocket justifies SpaceX’s founding purpose, which is to send humans to Mars.
