Squirrel causes power outage at election center
Officials say the squirrel got into some electrical equipment.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A squirrel is to blame for a power outage that temporarily halted voting at the Douglas County Election Commission on Friday.
The outage impacted the area of 120th and Center.
Officials say the squirrel got into some electrical equipment.
Power was restored after about an hour and a half.
The Election Commission office will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The office will also be open for voting on Monday.
