LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The Lincoln Police Department says a stalled train is getting in the way of traffic Tuesday morning.

People are finding themselves stuck on South 70th Street between Pine Lake and Yankee Hill roads.

LPD says Burlington Northern is addressing the problem at this time.  Everyone in the area is asked to find an alternate route to work or school.

The Lincoln-Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency recommends using 56th or 84th streets.

Right now, there’s no telling how long it will take to remove the train.
