Stars win fourth straight, sweeping the Lumberjacks

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- The Lincoln Stars are winners of four straight, after taking down the Muskegon Lumberjacks 7-3 Saturday night.
It was hockey fights cancer night at the ice box Saturday, and six players in total scored.
Early on in the first period, it was a defensive battle until Layne Loomer put the Stars on the board first.
Loomer finished the night with 2 goals, and was awarded the ‘Top Dog of the game’, according to the Lincoln Stars X account.
The Stars finished their four game home stand scoring 32 goals, which is good for an average of 8 per game.
Lincoln will make their first road trip in over two weeks when they head to Iowa next Friday night to face off against the Des Moines Buccaneers.
