Stolen vehicle involved in theft at north Lincoln vape shop recovered, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A north Lincoln vape shop has been rammed with a car and burglarized for the second week in a row.

Police said a Hyundai Sonata was rammed into the front of Lincoln Vapor near 27th Street and Cornhusker Highway on Tuesday.

After crashing into the building, several people got out and stole around $1,000 worth of vape products, according to police.

Officers found the vehicle near 27th Street and Old Dairy Road, just right up the road from the vape shop.

Police said the vehicle’s doors were left open and vape products were found inside.

The Hyundai was reported stolen from a dealership in Bellevue.

Police aren’t sure if this was the same vehicle that crashed into the vape shop last week.

Investigators are looking for the thieves, and anyone with information is asked to call police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.

Correction: An earlier version of this article said the Hyundai was involved in last week’s burglary.
