Storm chances likely this weekend
Storms hold off until after the Husker game. Rain and scattered storms stay south until Saturday morning.
Tonight, temperatures only dropping down into the upper 60s for most of us.
Saturday afternoon and evening scattered storms possible. This severe risk depends on how much afternoon heating will occur. Southeast Nebraska is highlighted in a Marginal (Level 1 of 5) low-end risk for Saturday.
Saturday, high temperatures dropping a few degrees out of the 90s and into the low to upper 80s.
Dew points slowly cooling off, especially out west in the 50s and 60s.
Saturday, a few scattered showers near Beatrice and Lincoln in the early morning hours. By Saturday evening, isolated storms are possible in eastern and southeastern Nebraska. The heaviest of rain will occur Saturday night into Sunday morning. Rain and storm chances continue through Sunday morning and afternoon. Monday, rain clears out and temperatures start to feel like fall in the 70s.
