LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Flag Day ended with a shredded U.S. flag at the Nebraska National Guard Museum.

Tuesday’s storms pounded the property with golf ball sized hail, damaging nearby homes and vehicles as well.

The icy rocks were coming down hard enough that motion sensors inside the museum even started going off.

A person responding to the museum’s posts on social media says the hefty hail also shattered her big picture window, allowing rain to rush inside.
