Lincoln Electric Systems says overnight storms have caused power outages for as many as 8,000 residents in Lancaster county, as well as street and traffic lights.

All reported outages were caused by fallen tree branches.

LES has been working throughout the night and will continue until power is restored to all areas.

Lincoln Police say no injuries have been reported due to these outages.

They would also like to remind everyone to drive accordingly to these hazardous conditions, and to slow down when you approach a traffic light that is out.

If you would like to report a power outage, you can call LES customer service line at 1 (888) 365-2412 or visit their website at www.les.com

We'll keep you updated on details as they become available.
