Storms likely Monday afternoon and evening
Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Monday with the potential to be severe. The Storm Prediction Center has a portion of central Nebraska under a marginal (level 1 out of 5) risk for storms that are expected to move through the area around 5pm.
Hail up to an inch in diameter is possible with some of these storms Monday evening.
The NAM model shows a line of storms moving east through the state around 5pm Monday.
The HRRR model shows more widespread showers and storms moving east around 5pm Monday.
The GRAF model is a bit conservative, showing an isolated storm and showers around 5pm Monday.
Tonight, temperatures in the mid to upper 50s for all of us.
Monday, high temperatures in the lower 70s out west and lower 80s out east.
Monday, scattered storms and showers likely in central and eastern Nebraska. Temperatures cool off Wednesday due to a cold front moving in Tuesday night. Temperatures look to stay around or above average this week into next week.
