Storms LIKELY Sunday night into Monday morning
Sunday evening into Monday morning, a MARGINAL risk for severe weather is in place for most of the state. A SLIGHT risk for northeast Nebraska. Storms will develop near 3pm this afternoon and move east late Sunday evening before taking a SSE track into SE Nebraska Monday morning as storms become a wind threat. Main concerns will be winds up to 60+mph and quarter to half dollar size hail.

Winds up to 60+ mph will be possible, especially as the storms try and form a line early Monday morning in northeast Nebraska.
Quarter to half dollar size hail will be possible. Bigger hail possible with the first initial cells this evening out west.
Tonight, temperatures dropping into the lower 70s with storms rolling through near 3AM- 7AM.
Monday afternoon, temperatures still hot in the 90s for most. Monday night, more storms could move in from the east cooling us off into the 80s.
Monday, there is another MARGINAL risk for severe weather. This is due to the early storms in SE Nebraska and the another round of storms out west Monday evening. Main concerns will be Large hail, damaging winds and a brief spin up possible in SW Nebraska.
Big COOLDOWN soon?? This week looks to be right around average temperature wise. Saturday night, a big cold front moves through bringing some rain chances and a lot cooler temperatures. Low temperatures could be in the lower 50s! That definitely will feel quite refreshing after all this heat.
