Strong Winds, Small Snow Chances Return Sunday
Clear skies will continue heading into Saturday evening with temperatures slowly dropping into the single digits.
Another chilly evening across the state with overnight lows in most spots less than 10 degrees.
Cloud cover will increase during the overnight hours in Lincoln as south-southwesterly winds will pick up early Sunday morning. A brief snow shower or two is possible during the overnight hours as well.

Strong wind gusts will be possible again on Sunday, above is the latest on when strong winds will reach your area.
Due to the possibility of strong winds in eastern Nebraska on Sunday, a Wind Advisory is in place from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday. Wind could gust up to 50 miles per hour.
Highs on Sunday range from the lower 30s to middle 40s across the state.
More cloud cover but a warmer day ahead in the Capital City with highs in the upper 30s.
Back down to the upper 20s for MLK Day before temperatures return to the 30s and 40s for the majority of the upcoming work week. Another storm system looks to reach the central plains late next week, giving us another chance for snow.
