Stuck under clouds today with chilly temperatures 11/3/2021

Nebraska is off to a cloudy start for your Wednesday with chilly temperatures in the 30s. Bundle up the kids in their layers before you send them off to school, because we won’t warm up much later today. Mostly cloudy to overcast skies will continue into the afternoon and evening, which will limit our overall warming. Highs will only reach the upper 40s and possibly a few 50s as a result. The clouds gradually decrease overnight tonight and we clear out by early tomorrow morning. This could result in some patchy fog for your Thursday commute and temperatures will be in the low 30s. Highs return to average tomorrow in the mid to upper 50s with mostly sunny skies, but we warm above average for the end of the week! The 60s are back on Friday and then the area could potentially see the low 70s this weekend with sunny skies. We cool down a bit going into next week with highs in the low 60s and an overall dry pattern.

  • TODAY: Mostly cloudy to overcast skies today will limit our warming today resulting in highs in the 40s. HIGH: 48
  • THURSDAY: Temperatures warm back near average in the upper 50s with mostly sunny skies. HIGH: 57
  • FRIDAY: High’s soar into the mid-60s with mostly sunny skies. HIGH: 65
  • SATURDAY: Temperatures flirt with the low 70s with mostly sunny skies on Husker Game Day! HIGH: 70
  • SUNDAY: Still well above average with highs in the low 70s. HIGH: 72
