Summer like conditions Sunday, then storms on Monday
After a very warm day lows overnight will average above normal with mild conditions.
Highs for Sunday will be much like we saw today averaging 20 to nearly 30 degrees above normal.
Monday will also be warm with strong gusty winds and storm chances increasing late in the day followed by a run of cooler temperatures.
As low pressure moves out of the Colorado Rockies storms will fire up throughout the region triggered from the lift of a warm front.
Most of Nebraska and Kansas will be under the threat of severe weather Monday continuing into Tuesday morning.
The silver lining with the thunderstorms is the possibility of one to two inches of rain along and north of I-80 from the Tri-Cities into eastern Nebraska.
