Sunny and mild then a heat wave.
A beautiful night with lows slightly below normal for this time of the year.
A sunny very nice Monday ahead.
The risk for severe weather tomorrow will be in western Nebraska.
Seasonal highs tomorrow then heating way up through next weekend.
A ridge of high pressure settles into our part of the region Monday but a shortwave trough to our north will begin to drag a weak cold front into western Nebraska bringing a chance of thunderstorms. By Tuesday morning a slight chance of storms exists in eastern Nebraska with another embedded shortwave bringing continued chances by the middle of the week and beyond. As we head into next weekend a disturbance building in southern California will slide into the central Plains elevating the chance for severe thunderstorm activity.
