Sunny and mild with a heat wave ahead
Heavy rain fell in many cities throughout the state overnight.
Severe weather tonight will be confined to southwest Nebraska, Kansas and Colorado.
Mild conditions are expected overnight with lows in the upper 50’s.
Highs for Sunday will average around five degrees below normal.
Normal temperature for the next few days followed by a heat wave as temps get hot!!!
As a cold front continues to push south into Kansas tonight the showers and thunderstorms will go along with it leaving us with a sunny day tomorrow and again on Monday. The next cold front arrives Tuesday when storm chance will again ramp up followed by a large area of high pressure covering our part of the country and allowing the heat to settle in.
