Sunny, Mild for Monday

An early sunset just before 5:30 p.m. this evening after the end of daylight-saving time on Sunday. After a breezy day across southeast Nebraska, winds are expected to calm after sunset.
Temperatures across the state were much warmer today compared to Saturday. Highs reached the lower to middle 80s in southwest Nebraska, setting several record highs in the region:
Despite warmer temperatures, low temperatures tonight are still expected to drop into the middle and upper 30s in southeast Nebraska.
Mostly clear skies with lows in the upper 30s in Lincoln. We are still technically above average, but rest assured a northerly wind will still make for a chilly evening.
We stay quiet from the precipitation side of things over the next couple days. Stormcast shows a few passing clouds and a very small chance of a shower in northeast Nebraska early on Tuesday morning.
High temperatures on Monday will be close to our highs on Sunday, if not a degree or two cooler.
Mostly sunny for the start of the work week in Lincoln with highs in the lower 60s. Winds will be much lighter, out of the southeast between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
Sunshine continues for the first week of November, with highs reaching the lower 70s on Tuesday. Mostly sunny skies and above average temperatures will continue to end the work week, with a sharp drop in temperatures next Sunday.
