Sunny, Slightly Warmer on Sunday
Light cloud cover will be possible heading into Saturday evening as temperatures fall from the mid-40s down into the 30s. Winds look to remain light and out of the north between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
Temperatures in Lincoln fall to the upper 20s late this evening and stay fairly consistent before falling to the middle 20s close to sunrise.
Low temperatures will be in the middle 20s across southeast Nebraska with winds shifting to be out of the south.
Overnight lows for Lincoln will be in the middle 20s with a light southerly wind.
Southerly winds pick up throughout the day on Sunday, which will put high temperatures across southeast Nebraska a couple of degrees warmer than Saturday.
Heavier winter attire may be needed to stay warm during the morning, but we should see warmer temperatures in the Capital City by Sunday afternoon.

A very warm week ahead for late December with highs in the 50s and 60s. While chances for a white Christmas remain next to zero, we should see pretty good weather for those traveling for any holiday celebrations. A little cooler, but still above average heading toward the last several days in December with highs in the 40s.
