Suspect arrested for domestic assault, terroristic threats

ALDA, Neb. (KLKN) – Police arrested a Grand Island man for terroristic threats, domestic assault, and felony and misdemeanor charges.

Hall County Sheriff deputies responded to a domestic dispute at approximately 9:40 a.m. on Feb. 14 in Alda.

When deputies arrived on the scene, they determined that the suspect, Reginald Pokorny, threatened serious harm to his wife.

She was able to leave with her child, however, Pokorny stayed inside and refused to exit for law enforcement.

Pokorny eventually exited the residence on his own at 11:40 a.m. and was taken into custody.

He was booked into Hall County Jail for terroristic threats (domestic), a class 3A felony, third-degree assault domestic second offense, a class 3A felony, and obstructing a peace officer, a class 1 misdemeanor.
