UPDATE: suspect in Stacy Talbot homicide investigation makes first court appearance

UPDATE: A man who police say is tied to the murder investigation of a Lincoln man appeared in Lancaster County Court for the first time Tuesday afternoon.
Bond for James Richard Howard was set at $100,000.
He and two others were arrested last month as suspects in the ongoing homicide investigation of Stacy Talbot.
Howard’s next court appearance will be November 27th.

One of three people arrested in connection to the death of a Lincoln man has been extradited back to Nebraska.
Officials with the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office told Channel 8 Eyewitness News that James Richard Howard, who was arrested last month in Leon County, Texas, is now in Lancaster County Jail.
Howard, along with Jesse James Wilson and Sherry Thomas, was arrested as part of the homicide investigation of Stacy Talbot.
Talbot was found lying in the street near 14th and Judson on Oct. 18th.
Police say he had been shot in the chest.
It’s unclear at this time when Wilson and Thomas, who were arrested in Clovis, New Mexico, will be extradited back to Nebraska.
Lincoln Police say all three are being charged in connection to Talbot’s death.
