Suspect vandalizes laundromat, causes $1200 worth of damage

Around 10 p.m. on Monday, officers received a call to City Laundry at 1142 Cornhusker Highway on reports of vandalism. 

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are investigating a vandalism at a Lincoln laundromat that left the business with $1200 worth of damages.

Around 10 p.m. on Monday, officers received a call to City Laundry at 1142 Cornhusker Highway on reports of vandalism.

The owner told officers a man had entered the business and began damaging property. Officers found a sink pulled from the wall and damages to doors, televisions and tables.

After reviewing security footage, officers believe the man entered the business between 9 p.m and 10 p.m. Officers did not find anything stolen from the business during their investigation.

LPD says the investigation is currently ongoing.
