SUV hits garage of Lincoln home, causing up to $30,000 in damage

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A vehicle crashed into a house in northeast Lincoln on Monday night.

It happened about 7:15 p.m. on Renegade Boulevard near 94th and Adams streets.

Police said the driver of an SUV, a woman in her 30s, suffered a medical episode.

The SUV hit the garage, breaking open the wall but not going very far inside, according to a Channel 8 reporter at the scene.

No one in the home was injured.

Police said the driver was taken to a hospital because of her medical emergency.

The crash caused an estimated $20,000 to $30,000 in damage to the garage, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
