Taste of October in August

Southeast Nebraska is getting a fall preview Tuesday, minus leaf colors.  Temperatures will top out during the afternoon that normally occur October 3-4.  Highs will be in the lower 70°s with some near Kearney and Hastings struggling to reach 70°.

Skies will remain cloudy most of the day.  Mixed with the clouds will be periods of mist/drizzle and widely scattered showers.

Clouds will begin to depart Tuesday evening, eventually clearing overnight.  Temperatures will drop in to the 50°s Wednesday morning.
