Tax-filing season starts Monday

Monday, January 28th, is the start of tax day, and despite backlogs, and a government partial government shutdown that ended Friday–the Internal Revenue Service is saying not to expect anything out of the ordinary.

Companies like Tax Help, recommend filing on time and submitting your tax returns electronically, it will make getting your refund faster.

Tax-filing season ends April 15th, but you can file for an extension until October 15th.

All IRS employees are back at work this tax season, after a 35-day government shutdown, the longest in U.S. history.
