Teacher Cited, Student Not Allowed to Use Bathroom

A Lincoln elementary school teacher has been cited for child neglect.

Troy Baker teaches children with behavioral problems at Pershing Elementary School.

Police say on September 2nd, a student repeatedly asked Baker if he could go to the restroom.

They say Baker said no, and eventually the 8 year old soiled himself.

Baker was cited for 3rd degree child neglect.

The school says per Nebraska law, he has been suspended with pay during the investigation.
