TeamMates fundraiser to honor Tom Osborn’s 85th birthday
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A big celebration is in order for the TeamMates Mentoring program. Right now they are preparing to mark their 30th anniversary, while celebrating legendary Nebraska coach Tom Osborn’s birthday.
To honor osborn’s 85th birthday, former Nebraska football players Doug Glaser and Zach Wiegert are asking for donations of $85 – $850 to TeamMates.org.
Their goal is to raise $4 million to help fund the program for the next 30 years.

The organization is also holding a “Facebook live birthday bash” on Feb. 23rd from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Special guests will include UNL Athletic Director Trev Alberts, and players, and coaches, just to name a few.
