Teen caught after groping multiple girls in northeast Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Police say they have caught a serial groper in northeast Lincoln.
Someone matching the person’s description was seen Tuesday near 51st Street and Madison Avenue, according to the Lincoln Police Department.
Officers responded and took a 17-year-old boy into custody near 48th Street and Madison Avenue.

On Sept. 30, police started receiving reports of someone grabbing girls’ buttocks.
At least some of the victims were under 16, according to LPD.
The teen was cited on suspicion of eight counts of third-degree sexual assault.
He was taken to CEDARS Youth Services.
