Teen charged in October shooting that injured four in downtown Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teenage boy was charged last week in an October shooting that injured four people in downtown Lincoln.
Court documents say Teethloach Biel, 17, of Omaha was arrested in Douglas County on March 18. He was later taken to the Lancaster County Jail.
The teen was arraigned on March 27 on six felonies, including second-degree assault and use of a firearm to commit a felony.
A Lancaster County judge set his bond at $1 million. He must pay $100,000 to be released from jail.
On Oct. 20 around 12:45 a.m., officers were sent to 14th and O streets on a report of a shooting, the Lincoln Police Department said.
They found one victim at 13th and O streets with an injury that was not life-threatening, according to police.
Three other victims arrived at a local hospital shortly after. They also had injuries that were not life-threatening.
Biel’s next court date is set for May 1.
