Teen cited after crashing into north Lincoln house

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen was ticketed Tuesday after crashing into a house in north Lincoln, police say.
The crash happened around 3:45 p.m. at a house near North 30th and Fair streets.
Police said an 18-year-old boy was driving a Ford Mustang on Fair Street when he accelerated and “lost control.”
The vehicle veered off the road, hit a curb and collided with the side of a house.
People were inside the home at the time of the crash, and at least one complained of back pain from the flying debris, LPD said.
The driver was not injured. But he was cited on suspicion of negligent driving and for not having a driver’s license, insurance or registration.
