Teen referred after bringing toy gun into west Lincoln restaurant, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A teen brought a toy gun inside a west Lincoln restaurant Monday night, police say.

Just before 10 p.m., a 16-year-old boy brought the toy into the Watering Hole near West A Street and Coddington Avenue.

He didn’t threaten anybody or shoot the gun.

But police said it’s a violation of city law to bring a toy gun into a public place, so he was referred to juvenile court.
