Teen suffers minor injuries when hit by car

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A teenage boy was hit by a car Thursday afternoon in south Lincoln.

Police said it happened at 33rd and Van Dorn streets about 12:45 p.m., as school was letting out.

The driver said she didn’t see the teen crossing 33rd because vehicles in the turning lane were blocking her view, according to the Lincoln Police Department crash report.

The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with minor arm pain, police said.

No tickets were issued.
