Teen’s breathalyzer costume doesn’t save him from DUI
A Lincoln teen's 'Breathalyzer' costume didn't get him out of trouble after being pulled over for DUI.
Lincoln Police say 19-year-old Matthew Nieveen was arrested early Monday morning after an officer saw him driving erratically near 33rd and Holdrege streets.
Police say Nieveen was also wearing a 'Breathalyzer' costume and had just left a Halloween party that night. Police say Nieveen was cited for a second DUI and being a minor in possession of alcohol. His blood-alcohol measured at more than twice the legal limit. He was also cited for an open container violation and negligent driving before being taken to detox.
