Temperatures on the rise starting Sunday

Today was quite cooler across the state! Sunday, we’ll warm right back up into the upper 80s and low 90s under mostly sunny skies. A weak cold front will move through north-central Nebraska Sunday afternoon, which could spark a few isolated showers and thunderstorms. Eastern parts of the state might see a sprinkle or two by Sunday evening.

Looking ahead, Monday through Wednesday will feel hot again, with highs climbing into the low to mid 90s. There’s also a chance for a few storms in parts of northeast Nebraska Tuesday night.

A stronger cold front will look to move through the state Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. This could bring some severe weather for parts of Nebraska. Temperatures will cool down for a day or two before we warm back up into the lower 90s.
