Temperatures returning to more summer-like standards
After a taste of fall this weekend, we’re going to have a full-on summer feast this week. Temperatures will continue to warm on Monday, with highs in the middle-80s for many in southeast Nebraska.
Monday will be a day with low humidity and relatively light winds. Dew points will likely be sitting in the upper-40s and low-50s during the afternoon, resulting in a very comfortable air mass.
Clear skies will remain on Monday night, setting us up for another cool morning on Tuesday. We’re looking for a low temperature in the lower-50s in Lincoln on Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, high temperatures will return to the 90s. In fact, we’re keeping the 90s around for much of our 10-Day Outlook. As far as rain chances are concerned, we may have to deal with a couple of disturbances by late week. However, the details are still a bit fuzzy at this range.
Long story short, we’re watching a few rain chances by late week, but we’re otherwise dry and very warm this week!
