Precipitation Chances:
Our next best chances for precipitation enter the forecast on Tuesday night through the middle portion of next week.
While it is a ways out still, the Storm Prediction Center is monitoring the chance for severe weather beginning Tuesday night. Currently, there is a Marginal Risk for northern and southwestern Nebraska as storms are expected to form along a front that will push down from the north. Models vary on the timing that this front will enter the state, but more clarity in the forecast should arrive in the next day or two.
Extended Forecast:
Rain chances will stick with us through most of next week, with Wednesday looking to be our best chance of precipitation in southeast Nebraska. High temperatures will dip just below average during the latter half of next week before warming up again going into the weekend of July 19-20.
