Temperatures Slightly Warmer on Tuesday
We see the 20s for a little while longer in southeast Nebraska before temperatures will drop into the teens later this evening. After a breezy start to the week, winds should drop off after sunset.
We still cannot seem to shake the single digits in a couple of spots for our lows tonight.
Mostly clear skies and this snowpack from this past weekend will keep things on the colder side overnight in Lincoln.
Wind chills will not be as bad as we saw early Monday morning, but we will see come close to zero for the Tuesday morning commute.
Temperatures will be similar to Monday with highs in the upper 20s and lower 30s.
Sunny skies continue in Lincoln as we look to reach the upper 20s during the afternoon. Winds will shift to be out of the north-northwest by the time we head out the door Tuesday morning.
Wednesday looks to be the warmest day this week before chances for precipitation arrive in the back half of the work week. Chances for snow remain on the small side, for now, and will continue to be monitored as we get closer. Another blast of cold air will drop highs back below 20 degrees to end the week, but warmer weather should follow for the start of February.
