Temperatures start trending up

A great day is coming for southeast Nebraska if you like sunshine and warmer temperatures.  Skies should remain nearly 100% throughout the day.  This should send temperatures in to the upper 80°s to lower 90° for the afternoon.  Winds will start to increase, gusting to 25 mph out of the southwest.

Clear skies are expected for Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.  It will not be as cool as it has in recent days.  Lows will be in the lower to middle 60°s.

The mercury will continue to rise for Wednesday and Thursday.  Both days will reach in to the 90°s with Thursday being the warmest day.  Highs will be in the middle to upper 90°s.  Humidity will also be a bit higher, sending the heat index in to the upper 90°s to near 100°.
