Temporary lane closure on S. 27th begins Monday

Starting Monday, July 29th, both southbound lanes on 27th St. between Randolph and F St. will be closed for gas line installation.

Traffic will be once again allowed through starting Wednesday morning, July 31st.

All lanes will reopen Saturday, August 3rd.

Digital signs will direct drivers to upcoming work and lane closures.

Drivers are urged to use other routes, if possible.

Access to area businesses will be maintained during the project.

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities reminds drivers to use caution around work zones.

They also say they appreciate drivers patience during the construction.
