The 21st Annual Husker Lawn & Leisure show prepares homeowners for spring weather

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Spring is right around the corner and homeowners are preparing for warmer weather.

The Lancaster Event Center held the 21st Annual Husker Lawn and Leisure show to help with the preparation as well as well as inspiration for projects.

The event brought in vendors and businesses from around the Lincoln area.

Ranging from landscaping and patio furniture to lawn equipment and machinery, to unique services provided by start up companies that range from custom metal work and unique fertilizer pellets to bring your garden to life.

Paula Winholm, who helps organize and run the event, looks forward to the show every year and does what she can to help local businesses of all kinds.

“It, it starts their selling season, you know. This face to face marketing is amazing.” Said Winholm. “They’re talking to people with, coming into spring and this is when we are looking at our yards and our houses and their needing some, I guess, attention. Maybe its windows, siding, landscaping.”
