The celebration of Allen Bock’s life

On Saturday afternoon hundreds gathered in the Lincoln Lancaster County Event Center to celebrate Allen Bock’s life.
“It’s really inspiring, it’s but it’s neat to see how many people he impacted,” Emily Bock Allen Bock’s Daughter said.
Allen was a teacher at different Lincoln Public Schools for more than 30 years.
He passed away on January 22nd from Multiple System Atrophy, a rare disease which affects both the nervous system and movement.
People from all over Lincoln packed the room to honor his life. For his family seeing the massive community outreach to celebrate him meant the world.
“I knew my dad was amazing and did amazing things but just to see everybody come out and share that I know even more how much of an impact he made on the community,” Callie Kacvinsky Allen Bock’s Daughter said.
They started a memorial fund through Lincoln Public Center helping give scholarships towards kids who are lower income to earn college credit
