Late Wednesday night there was a major house fire on the Woodline Hills Golf Course in Eagle, officials still have yet to find out what exactly caused the fire, that caused the Flodman’s to lose nearly everything.
“11 o clock my mom called me, we live down the street and she said the house was on fire I came in through the garage and looked back out on the deck but I saw the flames already it was really fast,” said Trent Flodman the son of the homeowner.
Something that the Flodman’s are thankful for though, is the neighbors that they have around them to help out in their time of need.
“We were here till 2:30-3 o clock in the morning last night and we’re a very tight knit community out here at Woodline hills and everybody came and helped, I mean everybody. They were all here supporting us and I really appreciate that, my mom and dad really appreciate that,” added Flodman.
Now the day after a devastating house fire, which took nearly everything away, it leaves the Flodman family to move on, and try to take the next step.
“We’ll buy them some clothes, go get them a tooth brush and start from there, and start making a list of everything, which is amazing. From the Husker tickets we lost, to the passports, we have no idea what else, just start making a list,” says Flodman.
