The Nebraska volleyball team is losing one of it’s team captains

Sophomore Libero Amanda McCormick is leaving the program for personal reasons. McCormick tells channel eight eyewitness news that she plans to transfer to another program. She says she's had two good years at Nebraska but that transferring is the best option for her right now.
McCormick was voted a team captain prior to last season. She led the Huskers with over four-and-a-half digs a game.
She will stay on campus and finish up the semester and unlike other sports she will not have to sit out a year and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
