LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Four black cows and two calves are on the loose, and authorities in southeast Nebraska are on the lookout.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the Pawnee County Sheriff’s Office said the livestock went missing southwest of Humboldt.

“These critters jumped the fence and can’t be found,” the sheriff’s office said.

The black cows have green tags.  One calf has a white tag, and the other has a fly tag.

Anyone who spots the wandering cattle is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 402-852-2969.
