Thief took car keys, clothes after prying open locker at Grand Island gym, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Grand Island Police Department is sniffing for clues in a locker theft at Planet Fitness.
The theft was reported Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. at the gym near Highway 281 and West 13th Street.
The victim told officers that a man pried his locker open and stole clothes and a set of car keys.
Police said the thief then took $1,000 from the victim’s vehicle and left the keys inside.
Security video captured the man driving away in his own vehicle.
An investigation is ongoing.
